Football in Palestine and Israel

Football is not the thing you think of when discussing the Israel-Palestine issue. Today though a mail ended up in my mailbox which involves both.
The Palestine Solidarity Campaign (UK) calls for a boycott of the Israeli football team because the state of Israel does not comply with International Law and relevant United Nations resolutions to end Israeli occupation. If you want sign this call you click here. This petition will be brought to the attention of the FA, UEFA and FIFA ahead of the England - Israel Euro qualifier on 8th September 2007.
